You have the option to view the list by Song Title, by Year or by Artist Name.
These are based on US Billboard charts. According to Billboard, any artist who only has one song that breaks the Top 40 is a One Hit Wonder. It has absolutely nothing to do with how popular an artist is/was or how many albums they sold.
I also have a list of Almost One Hit Wonders - songs that you might have expected to be One Hit Wonders, but the artists managed to squeak another song into the Top 40.
